Spreadsheets This page contains all the spreadsheets (MS excel) I have implemented for school and fun purposes. All spreadsheets required a password to open and is only available for school friends if you want to use them. Column Load Takedown Version: 1.0 (download)Status: Completed Description: Column load take down for one column with any number of storey according to the NBCC05. Only one load case is considered: 1.25D+1.5L. Live load reduction included. Moment and Shear Resistance for Reinforced Beam Version: 0.1 (download)Status: In Progress Description: Currently only used for rectangular steel reinforced concrete beam. Calculates shear and moment resistances as well as plots shear and bending moment diagrams for simply supported and cantilevered beams for specified loads. Includes both point and distributed load cases. Concrete checks complies with CSA A23.3-04. Composite Beam Moment and Shear Version: 1.0 (download)Status: Completed Description: Computes moment and shear resistance, transfer shear and shear studs required for a composite beam with concrete slab and steel I-girder. Now with partial shear included. Steel checks according to CSA S16-06. Two Way Slab Design Version: 0.1 (download)Status: In Progress Description: Design of a two way slab using mats for negative reinforcement. Includes shear check for axial load punching and calculates integrity steel. Also includes moment computing by the direct design method on a separate sheet. Moment Distrubution Version: 0.2 (download)Status: In Progress Description: Computes moment distribution for uniform distributed load for pinned or fixed ends symmetrical beam. Separate sheet for point loads (up to 5) on a non-symmetrical pinned or fixed 3-span beam. Preset for CSA S6-06 CL625 truck moving load. User specifed additional moment and general distributed load sheets coming in the next update. Interaction Diagram (Rectangular Columns) Version: 1.0 (download)Status: Completed Description: Calculates and plots the axial load - moment interaction diagram for a reinforced column. Roundabout - Unsignalized Intersection Version: 1.0 (download)Status: Completed (need check) Description: Spreadsheet for roundabout traffic calculation. This sheet has never been checked.
